Hurricane seasons are not at all unusual in the United
States, and this makes hurricanes the most common
severe weather condition. A lot of different areas in the country are subject to recurring and aggressive
hurricanes that can affect residents of cities and states.
When a hurricane is set to hit any given area, there are three moments in which the operation of elevators must be changed: during a hurricane watch, when the hurricane is approaching and when the hurricane is officially over.
